5K Donations
Author: sharonEach month I’m planning on doing a 5K race in the area. All fees and donations go towards that particular race’s designated charity. If you’d like to donate to a particular cause, please click on the Donate button below to give through PayPal. You do not have to belong to PayPal to use it’s features. Please leave a note in the comments if it’s for a specific charity/month, if you want a particular person mentioned/memorialized with your donation and if you want your name noted as a contributor.
Scheduled so far:
Saturday, January 17th - St. Pete Times Classic benefited St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
Saturday, February 14th - Suncoast Classic benefits the Ronald McDonald House
Sunday, March 15th - Bay-to-Bay Classic benefits the YMCA
Saturday, April 4th - Aflac Iron Girl 5K will benefit a children’s charity - last year it was the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults - this year’s charity has not been announced yet. (Iron Girl as a brand, also seeks to empower girls/women to seek a healthy lifestyle)
Saturday, May 9th - Miles for Moffit goes towards Cancer research at the Moffit Cancer Center
Additional Races will be added as they are decided upon - though they tend to have fewer in the warmer months due to the heat/humidity as Florida heads into the summer months.
