101 in 1001 days
Author: sharonIn the process of editing…unless I win the lottery, there will not be the kind of traveling listed below, happening!
101 Things to do in 1001 days…
1. Go out on a sailboat. See if I really want to learn to sail or if I’m just imagining how great it would be!
2. Look into learning to fly a plane. Eventually I think I want to get my private pilot’s license.
3. Write a script. An article. A short story. Something I feel is publishable.
4. Finish the quilts I have started. Plan a quilt for each of the boys.
5. Take part in the Walk for the Cure (Breast Cancer).
6. Collect seashells and river rocks in Maine. Which means I have to go back! Again…Yay!
7. Fall in love one LAST time with the right guy!
8. Own a home (will have to wait until after 2012)
9. Have a horse or two (same as #8 above)
10. Get LASIK surgery to correct my vision.
11. Learn to play the guitar.
12. Get all photos/negatives onto CD and organize/back them up chronologically.
13. Put my Hawaii album together. Make a “to do/to see next time” list.
14. Plan out a visit Ireland.
15. Have both boys graduate high school.
16. Teach fitness/kickboxing classes.
17. Design/publish web site for work
18. Complete my college degree.
19. Start my “50 States” scrapbook. Get a count and plan to see more of the good ol’ US of A.
20. Learn to rollerblade well enough not to continually embarrass myself.
21. Plan to go on an African safari. Make a list of things-not-to-forget-to-photograph!
22. Plan to visit the Pyramids, and ride a camel.
23. Plan to ride a train across Europe…ala the Orient Express.
24. Make a list of books to read - Thoreau, Keats, Shelley, Hemingway, Bronte, Woolf…all the greats that were somehow missed in my sorely-lacking public education.
25. Spend New Year’s somewhere exotic.
26. Own a classic Mustang Convertible.
27. Go up in a hot air balloon
28. Plan to Dive the Great Barrier Reef
29. Spend Christmas in the mountains…snowfall, skiing, log cabin…everything cozy & romantic.
30. Own a gun/learn to shoot (better)
31. Get a video camera and put a TV show together. Then shop it around! Or put it on the internet.
32. Scrapbook my life as if I were writing my autobiography, with photos and artfully, of course!
33. Dream about Visiting Australia.
34. Take a cooking class. I’m a good cook, and do a hysterical Rachel Ray imitation…but think it would be fun to learn some new tricks, new recipes, etc.
35. Imagine Going to Italy and losing myself in the culture, food, history and the “experience” for several weeks. Unless of course I actually do get lost (it does happen, trust me) and then I might be there a bit longer.
36. Learn to make my own precious metal jewelry.
37. Take the boys to Washington D.C.
38. See the Grand Canyon

41. Lie on the beach in Mexico and do whatever I want, which might be nothing at all.
42. Meet Mark Harmon.
43. Make a list of classic movies to watch.
In case you were wondering why these aren’t on the above list…been there, done that!
(or things that I’ve already done before I officially made a list, that would have been on such a list, if, of course, I’d thought to create one earlier. Though I may do any of them again one day, just because)
