Though graduation is over, I was rummaging through some older layouts and found one of my all-time favorite layouts. I made this for Jenny’s daughter Toni when she graduated high school a couple years ago. It’s an 8″ x 8″ page - my favorite size:

The back:

Supply ListPage Title: Graduation Advice
Journaling: Live life to the fullest so that when you’re 80, you can say you have “No Regrets”. RAKS are cheaper than therapy. Know your boundaries BEFORE you’re tested. Love - it’s not all about emotions. It’s about putting the other person’s needs before your own. You see it’s not about what you get, it’s about what you give. Just be sure it goes both ways! Family - your most important relationship. Value it, protect it, enjoy them for their unique perspective they bring into your life! Friends - surround yourself with positive, honest & loving people - life is too short for negative people to bring you down. Honesty will hurt sometimes, so be gentle with it. Love as if you’ll never get hurt. Forgive.
Fun ideas tips and tricks: On the back, I tore a business sized envelope in half and secured it to the back of the layout. Inside I included my photo and a letter to the graduate.
Patterned Paper: All patterned paper - Carolee’s Creations.
Cardstock: Bazzill
Cutting Tools: Paper Trimmer - EK Success Cutterpede. Xacto knife.
Ribbons/Fibers: Black/white check - Offray. White mini ric rac - Wrights.
Die cuts: “T” chipboard letter - Li’l Davis.
Rubber Stamps: Alphabet - Hero Arts
Rubber stamp ink: Brilliance by Tsukeniko (black)
Pens: Zig Millenium
Fasteners: White flower brad - unknown, pink mini brads - Doodlebug Designs
Creative lettering idea: Journal advice to the graduate on the front & back of scraps of cardstock. Use photo turns to hold them while keeping them accessible and interactive.
Other Supplies: map flags, photo turns, picture hanger, metal rimmed vellum tag (Making Memories), jewelry tag, safety pin, ball chain, clear plastic tab divider (Avery), silk flower (JoAnn’s)
